Rum Bus Tour & Beach Day at Carambola Beach Club

The Rum Bus will depart from Port Zante at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 11:00 am for a “BEST “OF open air tour of the island's rich culture and breathtaking landscapes and seascapes.

ROMNEY MANOR:

Your adventure begins with an open-air drive up the Kittian Coast to visit to the historic Romney Manor, a beautifully preserved plantation house steeped in history and nestled amidst lush gardens. Dating back to the 1600s, Romney Manor is originally associated with Sam Jefferson II, ancestor of Thomas Jefferson, it was later acquired by the Earl of Romney. Contrary to the instructions of the British Parliament, in 1834 Lord Romney declared his slaves to be free men, becoming the first estate in St Kitts to emancipate enslaved Africans. Today, it's known for the Caribelle Batik workshop and a stunning 400-year-old Saman tree, covering over half an acre.

BRIMSTONE HILL FORTRESS:

Your adventure continues aboard the Rum Bus to visit the majestic Brimstone Hill Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Brimstone Fortress is a well-preserved 17th-century military fortress with a rich history. Known as the "Gibraltar of the West Indies" for its strategic significance and imposing structure, it offers panoramic views of the Caribbean and insight into the colonial military engineering of the time.

TIMOTHY HILL:

For more breathtaking photos, you’ll make a quick stop at the top of Timothy Hill, where you'll see the difference between the Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea.

CARAMBOLA BEACH CLUB:

Arrive at Carambola Private Beach Club, nestled on one of St. Kitts' pristine beaches, and enjoy your tropical getaway with a complimentary welcome cocktail. Carambola Private Beach Club is exclusively open for Atlantis guests, offering a day of sun, sea, and indulgence. Relax on the white sands with beach-side drinks and food service, or dive into the crystal clear Caribbean waters. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with a DJ or Steel Pan Band on the Ocean Deck Bar, explore local crafts and duty-free wines, or unwind with a beach massage. Those interested can explore the wedding and special-event showcase in the lounge. For an additional cost, savor a delicious lunch or select from the sushi a la carte menu at your discretion, surrounded by stunning ocean views. For additional comfort, rent beach lounge chairs and umbrellas at a minimal fee.

RETURN TO PORT:

The adventure doesn't end until you hop back on the Rum Fun Bus, returning to Port Zante with unforgettable memories. The buses will be returning every 30 minutes. Rum Bus departs Port Zante for Romney Manor and Brimstone Fortress at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 11:00 am. Rum Bus departs Carambola for Port Zante at 1 pm, 2pm and 3pm. 45 minutes at Romney Manor. 1 hour at Brimstone Fortress.
